The Herald was written by Glenn Goring, Andy Hellaby & Roger Wootton for Comus and appeared on the 1971 LP First Utterance.

This 2020 version was specially written and arranged by Jon Seagroatt for original vocalist Bobbie to perform at the online 2020 Million Tongues Festival, curated by Steve Krakow for ESS, Chicago.
